This was objective that, in november of 1986, Ivan Barroso and Manoel Torres founded Skafe Cosmetics, meaning “star” in Arabic. In the beginning, there was only one Deo Cologne line and five employees, but the claw and the persistence of the partners transformed the company into a successful case.
      Since that time the partners were betting on the study and research of natural raw materials and invested in the latest equipment and specialized handwork. Today the company has more than 12 lines, about 130 items, primarily for the hair. Everything moved by about 500 direct employees who help the operating “machine”.

      Occupying an area of ​​over 10 thousand square meters, the Skafe factory is located in the city of Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro, and it cause great impression due to the modernity of the equipments and qualification of manpower. The growth was such that it was necessary to expand the distribution center, to maintain the organization and the deliveries on time. The new space, located at Pavuna (RJ), was inaugurated in 2006 and has 1960 m2, allowing the storage and packaging of finished products, as well as attending to 8 hauliers companies simultaneously.
